Since 2004 I have been leading creative writing workshops and classes organised by various organisations including Workers' Educational Association, Writers In Sheffield Schools, Sheffield Arts Education, Signposts , Sheffield Young Writers, Young Writers On Location, Sheffield City Council and BBC Blast. I have also taught private courses and offer a manuscript critique service. I occasionally appear on Rony Robinson's BBC Radio slot Write On With Rony.

WRITING A NOVEL
at Sheffield Independent Film, Brown Street, Sheffield
on Thursdays 6.30pm-8.30pm, from late September 2009
For anyone who has ever wanted to write a novel - come along even if you are just thinking about it, or if you have a draft or part of a draft done! We cover character, plot, dialogue, viewpointing, marketing your novel, how to approach agents, plus insights into the publishing world and the markets for fiction. The course runs over two 10-week terms, and you can start at the beginning of either one.
